Advanced Training

With a focus on managed care pharmacy, Clinical Pharmacy Services is dedicated to educating aspiring pharmacists and providing postgraduate pharmacists with training programs to further their careers.

Through our individualized training programs, you participate in challenging work and have opportunities for personal and professional growth. Our interns, residents, and fellows collaborate closely with all members of our pharmacy team. Many of our pharmacists have experience teaching at colleges of pharmacy — and their academic perspective shapes our approach to learning and education throughout the organization.

• Internships
  Doctoral-level pharmacy students join our team for four to six weeks of hands-on experience in medication management within managed care.
• Residency and Fellowship Programs
  We offer postgraduate pharmacists the opportunity to join a professional team, achieve individualized goals, and receive named credit on their publications. As a resident, you gain comprehensive knowledge of managed care pharmacy while providing optimal patient care. Through our fellowship program, you participate in and publish research that promotes safe, effective, cost-efficient pharmaceutical care and management.
• Teaching
  Clinical Pharmacy Services has an integral role in training the next generation of pharmacists. Our staff members teach courses at local colleges of pharmacy and offer students advanced pharmacy practice experiences in managed care at Clinical Pharmacy Services.
