Dr. Ousterhout will present a yearly preview of upcoming pipeline agents to help educate on issues including recent trends, comparisons with current available therapeutics, and information on agents that will become available in generic formulations in the near future.

Academic Affiliations

Along with our robust relationship with UMass Medical School, our affiliations with schools of pharmacy enhance our student internships and postgraduate pharmacist training programs:

Many of our clinical staff members maintain academic appointments at these universities and actively teach and precept pharmacy students on their clinical rotations. Our staff places high priority on developing academic courses and raising student awareness of managed care pharmacy:

  • Coordinate an elective managed care course for the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences–Boston, with lectures delivered entirely by our staff
  • Participate in local and national professional pharmacy organizations
  • Work with stakeholders to incorporate managed care pharmacy into established pharmacy curricula
